Darwin Nurseries staff and volunteers planted more than 400 trees this week following a generous donation from The Woodland Trust.
Team manager Christine Millar took delivery of the 420 trees this week, which have been planted to create an improved habitat for wildlife and protect the site from strong winds.
Christine said: “We had a fantastic turnout of staff, service users and volunteers with the planting on Monday. Thanks to their incredible effort, this will be a major step forward in our 10-year plan to develop the site.”
Darwin Nurseries is run by CPFT and the staff includes volunteers and those with learning disabilities.
