Statement on behalf of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust

Tracy Dowling, Chief Executive, for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust said: “We can confirm that sadly, a patient aged 44 who had underlying health conditions has passed away at a community physical health ward at our Trust. She had tested positive for COVID-19.
“Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time."

  • The media are asked to respect the wishes of the families, and the interests of staff at the hospital to avoid any disruption to operational services.
