Information for researchers
This section aims to provide researchers with guidance and support to conduct ethical high-quality research in the Trust whilst guaranteeing the safety and well-being of its services users.
The R&D office is available to help throughout the research cycle from grant applications and ethics, through to R&D Approval for CPFT as a research site. If you click on the different sections of the process map it will give you more detail about each step.
For researchers at the University of Cambridge, Karen Gipp, NIHR Programme Manager can provide advice about setting up a study that involves the Trust: ke242@medschl.cam.ac.uk
Research in the Eastern Region is coordinated through NIHR CRN Eastern. In CPFT three teams supporting research operate out of Windsor Research Unit, one team supporting Mental Health research, one supporting Dementia research, and one for Community/ Physical research. All three teams can offer support to researchers and health professionals to deliver their NIHR adopted portfolio studies. For further information please contact your local team: CRNEasternmentalhealth@cpft.nhs.uk or wru@cpft.nhs.uk
